Question – What have Dior, Fortnum & Mason and Tracey Welch Photography all got in common? Answer – we’ve all had the same designer work on our branding. Yes, the lovely new logo you see before you was developed by branding guru Steve Edge and his team at Edge Design. Also known as Lord Shoreditch, Steve is recognised as one of the best designers in the UK. Since we first met at last year’s Dyslexia Action Awards Steve and I have kept in regular touch. He likes my work and when he offered to help with a re-brand it took me about five seconds of dumbstruck silence to say – “Yes please”.
So with my hand-drawn, vintage high-wire walker in place I’m now ready for re-launch from my new studio in Tower Works. The rationale behind the logo is that it “Captures the fun element and will make a memorable talking point”. So – any comments let me know.
Meanwhile back at the Leeds O2 Welsh band Lost Prophets played to a packed house last week. The job went fine. The gig was great. I know what you’re thinking – she usually finds something to moan about but actually I don’t have a bad word to say about the entire experience. Must be the new logo.
