Celebrating 10 Years in Photography

10 years exhibition 2015
So, it’s official, Tracey Welch Photography is now 10 years old. Can’t quite believe it – the last decade has hurtled by. Having said that, when I look back over the work I’ve produced it does feel substantial and I can see the progress, which is really satisfying. Equally satisfying, having a 10 Year show at White Cloth Gallery in Leeds which features some of my favourite music pictures going back almost to the beginning.

Thanks to Graham Wileman for helping me hang the show – it took a whole day but would have taken a whole lot longer without his exhibition design expertise. Along with the poster style exhibition prints we (as in me and my support system, Sarah) put together a book consisting mainly of commercial projects, which was great for all the clients, colleagues and friends who came along to the private view.
We had a brilliant night – big thanks to Enjoy Digital. Creative Director Sean helped me with the print design which worked really well and Chris, Jonny and Andy came along on the night and kept a steady supply of wine going throughout. Thanks also to everyone else who made it. There were a few faces I hadn’t seen for years and there was a really great buzz about the place all evening.
The show is on until the end of July so pop in if you get chance. In fact if you give me a call I’ll meet you there and give you the grand tour. At the end of July we’ll be moving a cut-down version to the Forum in Sheffield.

All the prints are available to buy as limited editions so If you’re interested in purchasing one or several get in touch with me and I’ll sort you out. For now though, thanks again to everyone who has contributed to my first 10 years in photography. Cant’ wait to see where the next decade takes us.
ps For anyone who enquired about the book it was produced here http://www.aperturebooks.com/ and the prints themselves were produced by Pinders in Sheffield http://www.pinders.uk.com/
