Re-visiting Vietnam
When I say re-visiting I actually mean looking back at an amazing trip through some of my favourite pictures. Believe it or not this is the first opportunity I’ve had to properly share them. I spent most of August in Vietnam and it was an incredible opportunity to experience a completely different country, culture, environment. More than that, it was a chance to take some proper time-out for the first time in years. It was brilliant seeing my mate Bridget who lives there, and she went out of her way to make me feel at home and to make sure I made the most of the trip. Having that time to reflect on life I suddenly felt very fortunate. It made me realise I’m in a job that I absolutely love. I have some lovely clients and I missed work, or rather I missed photographing and working with different people. So when I came home it was great to get straight back into it. Plus I came back to a family party so I could have a good catch-up with all my lovely rellies. Vietnam was unforgettable and I’m now making plans to visit other friends in far-flung corners of the world, but in the meantime Christmas is nearly upon us, and despite the grey weather I’m more than happy to be back at home and working.
