ITI Group Portraits
I’ve had the pleasure of working with the company Servelec – a health informatics company based in Sheffield – in the past. They were so happy with the portraits that I’d shot for them previously, that after their recent merger with ITI Group, I was asked back.
The brief was to capture some new images for this new stage of the company’s development. Some were familiar faces, some were new to me as employees of the merging company, but in each case we had fun taking them and everyone was really happy with the final results, and they’re already up on their website!
ITI Group are one of the UK’s largest fully-independent systems integrators having steadily grown since their inception back in 1972. Originally they provided software and electronic solutions to industrial markets, then soon got involved in the rapidly expanding UK oil and gas sector. They now design and manufacture software and hardware for a wide range of clients including the MOD, National Grid and EDF to name but a few.
The areas of expertise of this company range from nuclear and renewables, to manufacturing and defence. What’s clear however, is that investing in their staff is a big priority. They pride themselves on being one big team of practical yet insightful individuals that happily identify as “industrious and geeky”! We went with a clean cut, plain white background for the portraits which I really think really allowed the essence of each individual’s character to come through.
Any company that prioritises their staff well-being gets the thumbs up from me, and I hope to get to meet and photograph their inevitable new recruits in the future!
