The latest edition of Drummer Magazine is out now and featuring more of my images from Download but I also wanted to share a couple more shots of Nightwish and Deftones plus some of the drummer images that sadly didn’t make the cut for the magazine.

Not sure yet which images of Deftones drummer Abe Cunningham will make it into the September edition of Drummer so playing it safe here with a back-stage shot.

Scandinavian metal band Nightwish are huge in their home country of Finland and Floor Jansen makes for a charismatic front woman.

Nightwish drummer Kai Hahto really drives the stage show and I managed to get a couple of decent shots in from the side of the stage in the 30 seconds I was allowed up there. No complaints from me though – the pyrotechnics are all over the shop so better safe than sorry!

And finally to this month’s bonus shot…I was in a great position to photograph Ryan Dawson of All Time Low and loved how he turned to give the camera a cheeky grin. Someone must have had a word in his ear. Don’t forget – keep your eyes peeled for more pictures in the September edition of Drummer.
