Let’s go Stroboscopic.
It’s really exciting to be moving forward with our Stroboscopic project this year. With funding from Arts Council England and sponsorship by Nikon, we’ve been working on further musician shoots. Below, alongside Rich Westley and Dean Honer is one of the new shots of Rob Graham from Working Men’s Club. I love the fact that our collective of musicians covers a really broad spectrum of musical genres including rock, classical, folk and electronica.
Over the next few months, the musicians will be developing a composition, inspired by the imagery and with a focus on connections. In the meantime, I’ll be capturing some of the process and performance in further imagery and film clips. The aim is to share selected content on line as we go. Then final pictures and music will all feature in the Stroboscopic exhibition at Bloc Projects in Sheffield. This will be open to the public on Wednesday 6th April, running through to the 18th, Easter Monday. Please, do get involved in our socials – all follows and shares appreciated! https://www.instagram.com/stroboscopic_project/ https://www.facebook.com/Stroboscopic_project-105519538640054
