Docklands.

When I’m on a job with an overnight stay I always like to explore my surroundings. Most recently a job for Build Generation took me to Ipswich and the Suffolk coast. It’s not a place I’ve ever been before and I spent the evening strolling around the docks and the marina, both of which were amazing. This floating museum is housed in what is described as Noah’s Ark. It certainly looked big enough for the job, towering darkly over the harbour. Sadly, the gang plank was down and it was well and truly closed. I had missed the boat. There was some kind of skate social going on and this skater girl must surely have known I was coming. The bright colour and lightness of what she was wearing contrasted brilliantly with the Ark behind her and she was happy to skate for the camera.  Meanwhile at the marina, it was wall to wall luxury yachts and motor launches. Not sure they’d be offering two by two accommodation in the event of a flood…
